Welcome to the Alumni Community

You're joining a community of more than 300,000 grads. Learn how you can benefit from your newly minted alumni status.

For more than a century, alumni have inherited the spirit of our founders, who imagined the U of A as an open laboratory of ideas and action: a place that gives us the courage to try anything. To arrive as one person and to leave as someone else. To learn, to try, to seek truth and to solve problems with quiet confidence. To become change makers and world shapers. To always be looking forward, and to never be satisfied with the ‘now.’ That spirit of building solutions together, for the greater good, lives on in our alumni.

The community you join today will support your ongoing success, as it has done for generations, and continue to guide your path of leading with purpose.

Globally, U of A alumni have founded more than 700,000 organizations. A third of those have social justice, environmental and cultural missions. Alumni-created organizations employe more than 1.5 million people - the equivalent of one in every five Albertans.

Your role in this community starts by staying connected with other alumni and with the university throughout your lifetime.

Together, we can uphold the promise to lead with purpose.
